i agree with whoever commented that this interview was banned because the media doesn't want people to realize how great this man is because the things he is proposing isn't on their agenda. Thats why their feeding us crap about 2 candidates like they're the only ones who exist. But the truth is we should have more to choose from and pick according to who has ideals closest to our own not because they have a sexy running mate. RON PAUL IN 2012!

The explanation about flood insurance applies to almost every government institution; this is "moral hazard" that the free market - and reality - would regulate easily by simply allocating less resources to areas that shouldn't be built on (or people that shouldn't be subsidized, etc. etc.).

something lost in this interview is a very important piece of the Constitution whereby state powers are granted wherever federal powers are not. it's not like ron paul wants education to go away, just a national-level bureaucracy that tries to fund it and does a terrible job. let states and private institutions take care of it - it worked before, it can work again!

I think this guy is telling the strait forward honest truth, but everyone around him including his party is embedded in the corrupt system. Those who really control what goes on, the federal reserve, the corporate interests, the powerful elite are threatened by him. If he simply dismantled goverment to allow the 'market' to reign they would assume even greater control. If he tried to shut them down they would swiftly get rid of him. The goverment dosen't control things anymore..

Absolutely, the power elite are terrified of people like Congressman Paul. He speaks the truth. It is a shame he wasn't the Republican nominee. Unfortunately, the press and power elite attacked him mercilessly. The heckling he endured was unbelievable. I have doubts about Obama and hope for the best. And, I certainly do not believe McCain and Palin would have worked, that would have been a mistake as well. Ron Paul was the right choice.

Wow, just saw the whole interview. Why was it now aired?
I live in a country called Denmark, which is the country in the world with the highest taxation.
Ron Paul would be a breath of fresh air, in a political system filled with socialists arguing semantics. This is THE idea, hope it spreads further than Texas(which is my favorite state of course.
Freedom is believing in each other, preach it if you will!
