The Veyron probably came from a long way back. See the R1 rider look in his mirrors near the start. He probably saw the Veyron approaching fast from behind and by the time he was up to speed the Veyron was on him and had a head start. Now a side by side roll-on at say 70 mph may be a different story in favour of the Yamaha, but the Veyron will pull away from 150 mph. The Yamaha, with a good rider has pulled 9.7 secons in the 1/4 mile. The Veyron's official time is 10.6 seconds.

The first car that passes the Yamaha on the left is a Bugatti Veyron. The second car that cuts in front of the Yamaha from the left is a Porsche Carrera GT.

Doch, auch wenn die Yamaha 400 PS hätte. Denn das Teil steigt nur... und bringt die Leistung nicht auf die Straße. Und bei 300 ist so oder so Schluß. Denn wenn Du auch 1 Mio. PS hättest. Wie hoch soll denn der Motor drehen? 34000 Umdrehungen? Dann würde sie bestimmt 640 km/h rennen :-)

naja
bei 400ps in ner r1 muss natürlich die übersetzung geändert werden
wenn man schon den turbolader und alles drum und dran dranbaut, dann wirds doch an einem anderen ritzel und kettenblatt nicht scheitern.
was sonst mit nem anderen getriebe möglich ist, weiß ich nicht...^^

i like the hennessey viper venom 1000, the lingenfelter corvette z06 and the heffner ford gt better
they are all around 1000bhp
0-300km/h: under 20 seconds especially the ford: 16,2 seconds!!!
comparewith the bugatti: i think it was about 24 seconds.
i think in this class of 1000bhp and more it is just a matter of weight any more

vorne max.zwei Zähne mehr im Ritzel...sonst passt es ja nicht mehr. Hinten vielleicht auch noch max. 4 Zähne und dann geht nichts mehr. Anderes Getriebe? Welches sollte passen? Also bleibt nur ne größere Maschine. 13 oder 1400 Kubik... gegen ein Auto vom Schlage eines Bugatti oder Ruf Porsche hat ein Motorrad über 200 km/h keine Chance. Ich hatte mir dieses Rennen damals mit dem Bugatti geliefert. Das Video ist um einiges länger... aber der hatte mich abgeledert.

bei youtube gibts auch andere videos von zb ner fireblade turbo oder gsxr und beschleunigung ist hammer, außerdem fahren die auch über 350 teilweise
so typen wie ghost- oder turborider schaffen ja auch 350+ naja
wie auch immer
wenn man aber mal vergleicht:
beim bugatti bekommt man diese fahrleistungen für 1,6 mio, und fast die selben in ner r1, fireblade, gsxr & co für knapp 14000

Die meisten gehen in der Annahme das mehr PS auch gleich höhere Geschwindigkeit mit sich bringt. Das ist nicht ganz korrekt. Wenn eine GSX und Co. 350 PS haben, drehen die Motoren deswegen nicht höher. Echte 350 km/h ist eine Technische Herausforderung und bedarf mehr, als nur nen Turbo in irgendeine Kiste zu klatschen. Und wenn Du Fahrleistungen haben möchtest wie ein Bugatti, dann benötigst Du die Fahrleistungen einer GP Maschine ala Rossi. Und die kostet soviel wie ein Eigenheim. :-)

there are same not well known american tuner cars, some of them are the henessey viper, the heffner ford gt and the lingenfelter corvette z06
all these 3 cars reach a top speed of more than 400
especially the viper (420kph)
