I am getting my wisdom teeth out in a couple of weeks. I specifically asked for percocet over vicodin. Should I ask for it without acetaminophen? How does that work?

For short term use Percocet is fine. It's only when you need large doses and/or use it for a long period of time that the acetaminophen gets dangerous. Just take it as prescribed and you'll be fine.

Acetaninophen is tylenol, it's what actually kills the pain, perc's without acetaminophen is like asking for candy without the sweet part, it wont kill any pain.

The Oxycodone in the percoset is the opiate, that gives you the numbess, but they wont just give you a 100% oxycodone pill.

yes they can i just had knee surgery and got a drug called percolone with zero acetaminophen, so you can take higher doses for extreme pain and no liver danger from the tylenol cuz its not in it.

Wrong! I recently broke my Femur(the largest and most painful bone to break in the human body) and at the site was injected with many shots of morphine, ad it barely dented the excruciateing pain. I got to the hospital and they gave me a drug called Fetanyl, google it it's 80 times stronger than Morphine
and more addicting than street Heroin. Man that shit was hard core!
