I(one of those youngsters today XD) actually have two movies that really define fantasy and roleplaying for me.
1.merlin(the live action movie about merlin's entire life.)
2. the original dragonheart(because Drake blows donkeys compared to Draco[sean connery FTW!!!]). I just wanted to convey that instead of just commenting it to myself for so long.
