Ron Paul on Evolution full recording

Uploaded by: Samplesurfer
Video Description:
Here is a full recording of the fragment where Ron Paul answers a question on a national American passtime, discussing Evolution theory.
It is instead of the edited version

Off course in full it is a much more qualified and subtle statement. He also makes clear that his convictions are not relevant for him as President.
Seemingly the person who asked about it does not grasp that a presidential candidate that acts Constitutional, removes a Department of Education and get rid of the National Science Foundation, does have lost any power to impose his personal views on Evolution on the Nation.
Paul, however was not quite smart to take that direction and play it out.

perhaps in africa ... ( 1 year ago by numnums21)
perhaps in africa there are already tons of animals eating grass. i can think of 10. yet there is no competition for leaves at the top of high trees. so yeah that would also be the easier path to take.
just a thought
So your asking ... ( 1 year ago by FzSBLACKMAGICK)
So your asking people to believe, this animal looked around and said to itself, mmmmmm, there's a lot of animals eating grass, but I find these leaves I find on the ground tasty, if I had a few million years, I could grow my neck long enough to reach them, and I wouldn't have to wait for them to fall. OK
How about the horshoe crab...no change over millions and millions of years, no environmental adaptation whatsoever. It's the perfect living thing?
I've been trying to ... ( 1 year ago by FzSBLACKMAGICK)
I've been trying to tell them that, but I don't know who or what they are reading. I suggested subscribing to a good scientific journal. You guys think it's surprising what chainbanger40 said?
Wait until you see what the quantum physicists are saying. I have a feeling you'll be more than a little uncomfortable with it.

I can't believe people still question evolution. Fucking morons.

People with more IQ in their dick than you have in your own body question the modern synthesis of Darwinism. Get your s**t together, son.

Well, for one thing, he's not the kind of person to push his religious views on other people, he respects individual liberties. And another, Department of Education =/= Education in general. For him, he believes education should be handled in a local level, not federal.
"....the creator ... ( 11 months ago by BSintolerant)
"....the creator that I know..." What happened to faith dude? Yuck. How can he act like he's for freedom when he does'nt even have freedom of thought himself. He's just spouting idealistic BS. To Bad. I do like some of his stances. But religious interpetaions trumping reality just ain't gonna cut it in the long run. The bible is to subjective to be used for anything other then personal inspiration.
Dr. Paul gave the ... ( 11 months ago by SirAdricTheBrave)
Dr. Paul gave the correct answer and did so in a way that his audience of laymen could understand.
Modern Darwinism IS a hypothesis. It HASN'T been proven.
(Heck, one of the key components, creation by random mutations in germ cells, CAN'T be tested.)
Well done, Dr. Paul.
Too all of the Ron ... ( 11 months ago by ShreddedSociety)
Too all of the Ron Paul Supporters, I am watching the CNN presidential debate right now, it is just in the beginning and so far they have cut off Ron Paul on two questions while allowing the rest of them to ramble on. They would not allow Ron Paul to answer a question when the rest of candidates were allowed to answer as long as they wanted to.

Scientists maybe questioning evolution but you can be damn sure the earth and its living organisms were not created in 7 days by a supreme being!! I know what sounds more like BS!!!!!
The top scientist ... ( 7 months ago by blaziermissy)
The top scientist of the world ARE in concensus that evolution is a fact. The information that is miscontrued purposely by Creationist is the minute details and the crack fillers of every detail. Don't be fooled by this trickery of words. The fact of Evolution is NOT disputed by the top 300 scientist of the world. It's politics at work that makes you doubt it. Don't be fooled.
exactly. Ron Paul ... ( 7 months ago by blaziermissy)
exactly. Ron Paul is answering this question in balance with the political zeitgeist of this error. Any other answer that is not in conjunction would be political suicide. Therefore, ALL politicians claim to "believe" in a supreme something. Hell, you're not even ALLOWED to hold office if you proclaim anything to the contrary. Talk about Civil liberties being taken away from the top down...that takes the cake.
sorry about the ... ( 7 months ago by blaziermissy)
sorry about the mispelled words and inappropriate words...I don't have time to check myself constantly. I just type and move on. And for those of you who dismiss my comments for the sole reason of mispelling words are truly grasping at straws.
Citing Stephen ... ( 7 months ago by blaziermissy)
Citing Stephen Gould is easy to agree with if you don't think it out. That very statement is a philosophically, psychologically, and political way to appease the average layman/voter. It's bullshit.
Yeah sure. A ... ( 7 months ago by blaziermissy)
Yeah sure. A substantial number of political agenda bought off assholes. Check out how much the Templeton foundation pays its speakers to speak against evolution. Ask how much the political agenda pushers get paid. It's no secret of the BILLIONS of dollars that religion is pouring into science. Think about it. Study sociology, human motive, etc.
Think about this: ... ( 7 months ago by blaziermissy)
Think about this: How huge of a motive do you have to believe in a magical god? A huge one. If there's a god, you get everything. If it's evolution, you get nothing. You have a motive, and the politicians use it to keep you in line, as they have thousands of years.
So think about this ... ( 7 months ago by blaziermissy)
So think about this too: How easy was it to recruit "Christian Crusaders" to kill and slaughter others? Pretty damn easy. Look what they get in return. Dumbasses. Like cattle stampeding over a cliff following a blind bull.

Gould - blaziermissy. blaziermissy - Gould. Which one shall I believe? Oh, I'm so confused. What ever shall I do?
