Kevin always cracks me up, and he's especially funny when talking about gay stuff. I think his words have opened many minds while making people laugh.
The people who attack his work for being homophobic are clearly only hearing certain words on the surface and not paying attention to his message.
For another great example of funny gay material that might seem offensive but delivers an important message, do a YouTube search for "MAYBE GAY RAY."

kevin is a great story teller...i love the john peters part of the story...i love the ending to the story with wild wild west lol very good ending. this is kevin smith etrue hollywoods story. i always wanted to know what happen with that story of superman i heard so many rumors with that like he didnt like or he was fired but i am glad he told the brutally honest. this story should of been in a movie i love it kevin!!

First off, only the producer was really thinking about commercialism - which is what they DO. Directors and actors and writers don't think of it that way, but sadly in order to get more publicity for films, producers need to make it a little more commercial because HELLO this is a big fucking movie.
If you don't want that stuff, that's what Indie is for. It's a balance, dude.
And secondly - superheros originated here that's our legacy you dont have to like them because theyre not yours.
